Verified review policy
How the Directory protects customers and restaurants from fake, misleading and abusive reviews.
Who can review
A review invitation is issued only after an integrated restaurant marks an order completed. The Directory verifies the invitation live with that restaurant. One restaurant review and one review for each purchased item are permitted per completed order.
What is prohibited
Fake experiences, copied text, advertising, undisclosed incentives, owner or staff self-reviews, competitor manipulation, threats, personal information and coordinated rating campaigns are prohibited.
How reviews are checked
Submissions are checked for completed-order validity, reuse, duplicate and near-duplicate language, rate and burst patterns, device and network behaviour, blocked identities, spam content, reviewer history, conflicts of interest and later changes to order eligibility.
Moderation
Only approved verified reviews affect ratings. Suspicious reviews are held or quarantined. Restaurant owners may report and respond to reviews but cannot delete them. Directory Super Admin records moderation decisions in an audit log and may restore a review when evidence supports it.
Reporting
Anyone may report a review with evidence. Independent reports can temporarily quarantine a review while it is investigated. Abusive or repeated false reports are rate-limited.
